Tiffany called and talked to the Detective last night. She was clearly already second-guessing this situation. She called me this morning and she is willing to let me come and get her. She still doesn't want to live at home, but I told her that we could sit down with her therapist and her mental health support caseworker and see what alternatives there are to get her in a place where she is safe, but feels more independent.
YIPPEE!! I know it's not over yet, but at least I know she's OK and (at least for now) she's being more reasonable. Pray for my wisdom and strength as we try to plan appropriately for Tiffany's future.
THANK YOU WILL NEVER EXPRESS MY GRATITUDE FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE TO HELP ME AND SUPPORT ME IN THIS!! I have made so many new friends, virtually overnight, and my faith in humanity has grown by leaps and bounds. PLEASE if ever I can return the good you have done me, don't hesitate to ask.

You have been phenomenal throughout this whole thing. I admire your strength.
Hopefully, you will be able to find a safe place for her. Here in Virginia we have the Alternative House. It's a place for teens with problems to live, where they can work things out with the family and live independently. Sort of like a halfway house.
Here's to hope!
With all the alcohol, and boys, and running away, I wonder if there isn't some "safe" form of running away.
Best wishes,

Of course, I would be hard pressed not to slap one of those house arrest tracking anklets on her as soon as I saw her if it was my child.
and yes, I know that wouldn't help in this situation...but I would still be sorely tempted to do this totally "DAD" thing.
keep up informed on this as you wish too. None of us mean to pry into private affairs but I dare say a few of us are concerned with where this leads.
Take care... of you both.
I am glad that I had some small part in the effort to locate her, and I pray for continued reconciliation and harmony.

I'll still send good thoughts and prayers your way to make sure this transition goes as well as it possibly can and I hope that Tiffany has learned a lot from this.
Great to hear all is well!
Hello,
Please forward this information to the parents of the child in question.
We ask that you please have the police contact us and provide us with the appropriate legal request so we may assist in locating your teen. Alternatively, if you already have filed a police report, please call us at our toll-free service, and be ready to submit to us the following:
1. Phone contact number for the officer/investigator/detective
2. Name of the officer/investigator/detective
3. Case number, if applicable
You may reach us by phone through the following access link:
http://www.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseac
(Please make sure to select the 'Contact ParentCare by Phone' option.)
Once your teen has been located, we will work with you to remove the account, if that is your preference. Please note that if your teen is logging in while missing, this information can be used to assist in finding the location.
Please send the link/URL of the profile in question. The URL is the profile's web address. It is found after 'http://' towards the top of your browser, in the web address bar. The URL most likely looks like one of the following:
'www.myspace.com/example' or ' http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu
If you have already submitted the URL/profile ID along with your email, we will verify the profile (this means that we will prevent its deletion for any reason until the investigation is complete).

I will keep you all in my prayers.
Do you think telling her how many
people care about her would help?
I think you need to sit down with Tiffany and the therapist and see just why she doesn't want to live at home anymore. There has to be more to the situation...
*hopes that everything works out*
I'm so very glad to hear you've heard from her and that things are looking up.
Much love.....
