TIFFANY CALLED!!! SHE WANTS TO SEE ME!!

Tiffany called and talked to the Detective last night.  She was clearly already second-guessing this situation.  She called me this morning and she is willing to let me come and get her.  She still doesn't want to live at home, but I told her that we could sit down with her therapist and her mental health support caseworker and see what alternatives there are to get her in a place where she is safe, but feels more independent.

YIPPEE!!  I know it's not over yet, but at least I know she's OK and (at least for now) she's being more reasonable.  Pray for my wisdom and strength as we try to plan appropriately for Tiffany's future.

THANK YOU WILL NEVER EXPRESS MY GRATITUDE FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE TO HELP ME AND SUPPORT ME IN THIS!!  I have made so many new friends, virtually overnight, and my faith in humanity has grown by leaps and bounds.  PLEASE if ever I can return the good you have done me, don't hesitate to ask.

I just found out about this situation from a friend on my F-List, and I am so relieved for you even though I don't even know you. I hope that things continue to improve for you and for her. I cannot imagine the worry that you must have experienced.

I know you don't know me, but I wanted to let you know that I have been keeping you and your daughter in my thoughts. I'm so glad that she is safe. While the healing will take awhile, it can at least start that is a wonderful thing.

I will continue to keep you and your family in my thoughts.

Blessings to you and your family during this trying time.

Oh, that sounds like such a wonderful step forward. Hugs! G comes up to me a couple times a day and says "I'm so worried about Tiffany." I know he'll be glad to hear of this.

That is good news. I will keep your family in my thoughts and hope that she follows through. I still think her "friend" needs to have some jail time.

Quietly watching
Hello there! I've been quietly watching the developments of your story. I am so glad that your daughter was found! I had passed on your plight to some people I know that work with the NCMEC and at INTERPOL (I figured with everyone posting online, I'd work your story via a different route).

I am so relieved for you!!! Out of curiousity-- why is she so adverse to living at home? Is she simply very independent? Good luck and good thoughts on the next leg of this journey.

That's fabulous! Evidently, she still needs a mom, and that's very good news. It says a lot about her level of attachment, and speaks volumes about her in a very good way.

Hopefully, you will be able to find a safe place for her. Here in Virginia we have the Alternative House. It's a place for teens with problems to live, where they can work things out with the family and live independently. Sort of like a halfway house.

Here's to hope!

I'm glad she called, and I've been praying and sending positive thoughts from Eldomere. :) Peace and love to you both.

Oh Good for her wise descision. I hope this shows that she is making progress.

With all the alcohol, and boys, and running away, I wonder if there isn't some "safe" form of running away.
